I'm BACKKKKKKKKKK, and also some stuff about assholes.

Well, hello there. :) 

It's been awhile, yes?  I'm sorry.  I needed some time away.  And then I forgot I had a blog, because, you know, in addition to needing time away I am also a wee bit of an idiot.  In good news, my fine friends, I am much, much better.  I've lost lots of weight.  I walk a lot, and I still hate it. :)  I haven't made anything for a long time, but I've been focusing on loads of other things so that okay.  The shop is completely closed but I have the most fantastic studio which I don't use for sewing, but which I do hang out in with my cat (you know, BUTTERCUP!) and do my job.  

Oh, yeah!  I do new stuff now - freelance writing, teaching English to poor college students who have to hear stories about squirrels and cats...  lots of new things.  All good stuff.  But I'm ready to dive back into blog land, as long as people promise not to be assholes.  To that end, I'm enforcing a strict "NO ASSHOLE" policy, spurred on by this glorious quotation my friend Annemarie sent me after a particularly bad day in which I had a near meltdown due to a situation involving popsicles, stupid men, Starbucks and a slow computer:
